We're on the hunt for a skilled Podcast Editor to join our team and transform our recordings into polished, binge-worthy episodes. As the Podcast Editor, you'll wield the power of audio editing software to craft a captivating listening experience for our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll meticulously edit raw recordings, removing unwanted sounds (ums, stutters, background noise), splicing takes for seamless flow, and weaving intros and outros for a cohesive episode.

  • You'll ensure consistency with the podcast's established style and format, masterfully integrating music, sound effects, and outros to create a signature sound.

  • Delivering high-quality edited episodes on time is essential. You'll ensure we maintain a consistent podcast release schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience wielding digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Adobe Audition, Audacity, or Logic Pro.

  • A keen ear for audio quality and a deep understanding of editing techniques (noise reduction, equalization, compression, normalization).

Accounting and Bookkeeping

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring their accuracy, and generating essential financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll (depending on company size).

  • Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions in the appropriate accounts.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
